# UniRents

> UniRents (Universal Rentals) rents furniture, tech, and household essentials to
> people moving through a defined chapter of life in Germany — students starting
> university, workers on fixed-term contracts, families setting up during a life
> change. UniRents delivers to the door and collects everything at the end of the
> rental term, so there is nothing to buy, resell, store, or dispose of.

## What makes it different

- Committed-term pricing (1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 months). A longer commitment lowers
  the effective monthly rate. Priced from each item's real purchase price, not a flat
  subscription and not a daily/short-term rate.
- Delivery and pickup are both handled by UniRents. The customer never transports
  anything.
- Service area: all of Germany.
- Optional damage insurance at checkout (Basic, covers up to EUR 50; Advanced, up to
  EUR 180). One-time delivery and return fees of EUR 2.99 each.
- Billing runs the full committed term even if an item is returned physically early.
